When was the last time you looked through online options for spiritual study? Not that long ago probably, if you are reading this post...

Let me guess what happened, you got overwhelmed with the amount of information available and felt like giving up even before you started. Or you started but never completed the program and feel like a 'loser' in some way. Maybe you said to yourself, "I just don't have it in me. I am not disciplined enough, smart enough or spiritual enough. I don't prioritise these things and that's my problem." All of that probably led you to indulging in some mindless pleasure to numb your self-criticism. Maybe not.

I don't know whether you agree with me but my head hurts with the information overload in today's world of AI. Don't get me wrong AI is awesome as a helper; it saves so much time; and that is why a lot of online content today is AI generated.

What does this mean - courses you see will be robust in their presentation, seem very well researched but will have this dryness and dullness to it like there is no soul in it. And that's exactly what it is - robotic content based on thorough research. You may say that's good isn't it, it's well researched and hence reliable. Not really, when considering the learner's perspective. Think about this, when you were in school and the teacher seemed so boring or lifeless, what did you learn from the class?

I hope you get my point. Don't waste your time and money on AI generated bulk sale online programs with people who are so-called spiritual 'celebrities' because as amazing as the course may seem, you will hardly learn anything. Learn from real people in your local area, who are dedicated to integrating the teachings in their daily life and can share this experience with you.

Traditionally spiritual teachings were strictly taught from teacher to student, one on one, to preserve the authenticity of the teachings and to ensure the student gets dedicated support from the teacher. The teacher may have multiple students, but each student gets mentored individually and given different methods to practise based on their individual makeup. Bulk selling was never the go, for real teachers who knew the unique nature of enlightenment.
